Buenas…pues navegando por la red encontre este tutorial en ingles…lo e traducido mas o menos que se entienda…alla va:
1- Nuevo documento de 20 x 4,fondo transparente.
2- Cojemos un lapiz de 5px y pintamos la mitad izquierda de color negro (usar la lupa si lo veis muy pequeño xD ).

3- Aplicamos Edición/Definir motivo.
4- Vamos a Imagén/Rotar lienzo/90º AC.
5-Repetimos el paso 3, Edición/Definir motivo.
6-Cerramos el documento y abrimos uno nuevo de 500 x 500 px fondo blanco.
7-Capa/Nueva capa
8- Seleccionamos la Herramienta de marco eliptico y acemos un circulo redondo apretando la tecla de shift.
9- Ponemos bote de pintura,y arriba seleccionamos motivo (num.1), apretamos en el num.2 y nos saldran los motivos..le damos al num.3

Ypintamos el circulo,quedaría algo así:

10- Hacemos lo mismo,bote de pintura pero esta vez con el otro motivo,y pintamos,nos quedaría así:

11- Dupilcamos la capa y aplicamos Filtro/Distorsionar/Esferizar , y ponemos estos valores:

12- A la capa inferior hacemos lo mismo Filtro/Distorsionar/Esferizar con estos valores:

13- Apretamos crtl+D (para deshacer laselección)
14- Ahora aplicaremos opciones de fusion a las 2 capas por igual con estos valores:

Nos tiene que quedar algo así:

Y finalmente a la capa de enmedio le ponemos una opacidad de unos 30% y listo….
Una cosa…si quereis poner algo dentro teneis que poner la foto entre las dos capas que forman la esfera…
