This agreement, made and entered into as of 1st day of June, 2008, by and between Fordham Toyota, 235West 154st, New York 10039, New York, a New York corporation, {hereinafter designed as the“Employer” or company “), and local 810, affiliated with the International Brother hood of teamsters (hereinafter designed as the union).
Where as, the employer is engaged in the business of parts andservice of automobile, and
Where as, the union represents a majority of employees and employers, and
Where as, the parties hereto desire to cooperate in establishing conditions in the employer’splant which would tend to secure to the workers a living wage, improve the standards of labor, abolish unfair completion insofar as labor is concerned , and provide methods for fair and peacefuladjustment of all disputes that may arise between the parties hereto.
Now , therefore in consideration of one dollar and the other good valuable consideration to each in hand paid by other, and inconsideration of the mutual promises and obligations herein assumed and made , the parties hereby agree as follows :
Good Faith
The employer and the union hereby agree that they will in good faith liveup to the provisions of this agreement, and that this agreement is entered into by the union and the employer on behalf of the employees of employer, now employed or hereafter to be employed , in thebargaining unit as defined in article 2 hereof.
Recognition
The employer agrees to and does hereby recognized the union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all technicians ,technicians helpers, stock person, parts drivers, car jockeys, prep department employees and porters, including clerical and office employees , part counters employees, guards, professional employees andsupervisors as defined in the labor Management Relations ACT of 1947.
This agreement shall cover all future plants which the company may operate during the terms of this Agreement or any extensions…
