PAST SIMPLE

Uses:
For an action which happened at a definite time in the past. The time is stated, already know, or implied:

-They traveled to india las summer.
-They had a great time.*For actions which happened inmediately one alter the other in the past.

-First, he had a shower. Then he had breakfast.

*For past habits or states which are now finished. In such cases we can alsouse the expresión used to.

-I used to run in the morninig.
